We are Door 1 Immersive!

Door 1 Immersive is a non-profit theater company, created by students of IESA and PSB’s performing art management MBA program. Door 1 Immersive produces original plays to share stories of global social issues, told through the unique voice of immersive theater.

We felt the importance of bringing awareness to domestic violence. Using immersive performance as a tool to stop the silence, we want the audience to live the experience, and thereafter reflect and question:

“What would I do in this situation in real life?”

Meet the performers!

The performers all come from the prestigious acting school Cours Florents. Absorbed in their characters and their stories, they will react and improvise on different scenarios according to different set of audience. In an immersive performance, every show will be different!

Meet our Psychotherapist!

Anne Guéguen

After working for about 30 years as a producer and casting director in the event and TV industry, I changed course 3 years ago. Even though I have always placed human relations at the center of my various professional activities, I was no longer in harmony with this environment. I needed to find a little more meaning in what I was doing. Listening, caring and sharing are fundamental values that I believe in and that have carried me forward tirelessly. So I turned to psychotherapy. I have now been practicing for a year while continuing to train myself in other practices that will be other great tools to accompany my patients: sophrology and dance therapy.

Meet the production team!

Coming from different backgrounds but sharing a common love for the stage, we created Door 1 Immersive in the hope of combating social issues around the world, while fulfilling our artistic desire.
Over the year, the Door 1 Immersive team has done thorough research, partnered with women shelters, and conducted close interviews with victims of abuse.
The final result, "Closed Door", represents our unified intent of standing against domestic violence!
